Marc has worked on the design, implementation and on-going management of information systems for over 25 years, including organisations in health, central and local government, banking, utilities, new media and publishing.
Marc has been a SharePoint consultant and architect for 13 years. Over this time he has been involved with over 40 different implementations for SharePoint 2003, SharePoint 2007, SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013.
He has architected, implemented and configured many SharePoint solutions, ranging from single team sites to entire intranets and portals. Marc recognises the need to design solutions that deliver maximum benefit at minimal cost, by focussing on the business, users and crucially the information requirements, rather than unnecessary technology and functionality.
Marc’s technical knowledge and experience of SharePoint is complemented by his effective communication style. Marc teaches several SharePoint training courses and is an active speaker on how best to use it for business benefit. He has a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Cognitive Science, and has also been a Research Fellow at Westminster University
