Strengthening our commitment to cyber security
Metataxis is pleased to confirm that we have successfully completed the latest Cyber Essentials assessment and have been re-accredited for a third consecutive year.
Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed cyber security certification scheme, managed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). It provides a recognised baseline of technical controls designed to protect organisations against the most common cyber threats.
Why Cyber Essentials certification matters?
Achieving Cyber Essentials certification gives us confidence that our cyber security defences are effective against common attack vectors, including phishing, ransomware, malware, and other prevalent cyber threats.
Holding this certification also demonstrates our proactive and responsible approach to cyber security. It provides assurance to our clients, partners, insurers, and stakeholders that we have implemented essential safeguards to protect Metataxis and the information entrusted to us.

Cyber crime: the current landscape
The UK Government Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2025 reveals that:
- 43% of UK businesses reported experiencing a cyberattack in the last 12 months
- 61,000 registered charities reported a cyber security breach during the same period
- Phishing attacks remain the most common and disruptive form of cyber incident
- UK businesses faced an estimated 8.58 million cyber crimes in 2025
