Environmental agency improves management of electronic and paper records

We’re delighted to be supporting a government regulator, based in the Republic of Ireland, to identify ways to improve and modernise their records management processes.

Metataxis has been commissioned to help this public sector agency address their records management activities. We will kickstart the project with a review of the current records management policies and procedures in place to identify gaps, recommend any necessary updates and ensure these are implemented.

We will then go on to provide advice and guidance on the management of both electronic and paper records.

To evaluate the local records management practices, we will be conducting site visits across the country. This will take us across several different counties, from Donegal to Cork, as well as visiting the head offices in Dublin.

Our client is very keen to establish consistent records management processes across all their sites and ensure all staff are well-supported and confident in records management practices. The regulator also wants to ensure that their retention schedule is effectively applied across all their office locations.
