New training programme supports integrated, organisation wide data protection programme
Metataxis is thrilled to be working with a major manufacturer to support the organisation’s data privacy programme.
This international manufacturing group has a strong presence across the UK and European Union. Metataxis previously worked with this organisation in 2017, embedding data privacy processes into the business in preparation for GDPR go live. Building on this established relationship, Metataxis is now supporting the next phase of the organisation’s data privacy maturity.
This new engagement will focus on the development and delivery of training courses designed for local data protection champions across the business. While the work will be delivered with the UK division, participants will include colleagues from both the UK and the EU.
The training programme is being developed to integrate seamlessly with the company’s existing policies and procedures, while ensuring the content is accessible to a non specialist audience. Trainees will represent a broad range of roles, from operations managers and frontline staff to back office support teams.
Training will be delivered through a combination of in person classroom sessions and online learning. On completion, participants will emerge as accredited data protection champions, equipped to support their own areas of the business. This network of champions will provide on the ground support to the company’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) and ensure a more integrated and effective data protection programme.
