Siobhan King is one of the senior consultants here at Metataxis.
Siobhan has over twenty years of experience in the information industry, with a background in records management and information governance across a broad range of sectors. Siobhan has successfully delivered information governance roadmaps and frameworks and has developed and delivered programmes of work to improve information management within organisations. As both a consultant and a practitioner, Siobhan has many years of experience and understands the realities involved in managing information in a fast-changing and challenging context.
Siobhan’s focus is on pragmatic solutions to information governance compliance, which considers the culture of an organisation as well as business and compliance requirements. An effective communicator, Siobhan is dedicated to understanding core business needs to develop systems and frameworks that are appropriate for each organisation. This commitment to finding solutions that meet client needs, and most importantly are the right cultural fit, is core to all of Siobhan’s projects.

With a background in records management and information governance, and technical skills combined, Siobhan brings a well-informed view implementation of systems and programmes. Projects have included development of information governance programmes, development of strategies and roadmaps, information governance for M365, development of information architecture for SharePoint and Teams and development and management of taxonomies and metadata schemes. For her most recent work, she has been lead and managed projects in the private and public sectors designing information governance programmes, providing independent opinions in support of procurement of records management systems and designed information architecture for SharePoint and Teams.
