New records management system supports compliant global growth
Metataxis is delighted to have supported an international law firm successfully procure a new records management system (RMS).
Having previously worked with the law firm on improving their information governance framework, this RMS procurement project was one of the key outcomes of the framework.
As one of the world’s leading global law firms, with multiple offices in 15 territories across EMEA, APAC and the Americas, they were looking for a solution which could compliantly manage the retention of all their records and work well with iManage – their existing document management system.
The legal firm also wanted to take a holistic approach to this procurement, considering the resources, policies and processes required to support the successful implementation of the new RMS across the organisation.
Metataxis initially developed a comprehensive list of all the necessary records management requirements for the firm and joined the procurement selection panel to review all the solutions available to help identify the best fit. Our Records Management consultants also undertook an analysis of the current state of records management in place to get a comprehensive understanding of all resource requirements to ensure the correct policies and procedures were in place.
Working together, we supported the law firm in selecting an excellent records management system to support their retention management requirements that fitted perfectly with the existing technology in place. As part of the project, we also delivered a well-informed and detailed roadmap to ensure that the people and processes supported the technology moving forward to future proof the organisation as it continues to grow.
