Archives and Records Association Annual Conference 2025

Meet us at the records management biggest reunion this year: 27th – 29th August, Bristol

The annual Archives and Records Association Conference (ARA) takes place this year in Bristol. Running from 27-29 August 2025, this year’s event will be ARA’s first ever hybrid conference.

Bringing together users, stakeholders, colleagues, and collaborators from the global records management and archiving community, the conference offers a range of practical workshops, panel sessions and presentations, an exhibition presenting the latest technologies, as well as the opportunity to network with fellow members of the community during this three-day event.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Next Generation: Innovation and Imagination in Record Keeping.” Featuring high profile speakers discussing the latest developments, best practices and industry innovations in the recordkeeping sector – it also welcomes our very own Information Management consultant, Noeleen Schenk!

You can find Noeleen live on stage on Wednesday, 27 August at 12:15 PM.

She will be joined by our Archives and Records Management Expert, Siobhan King, and together they look forward to hosting a lively 60-minute interactive workshop entitled “Adapting skills in a changing workplace.” Ideal for all ARA delegates, they will be encouraging attendees to explore their information, records and archival management skills, understand how transferable they really are, and identify what actions they need to take to adapt their skills for the changing world of work. It is not to be missed!

If you’re an archivist, records manager or conservator – this event is the place to be! And there’s still time to register!

In person registration closes on 11 August at midnight and virtual ticket registration on 29 August.
