Next Generation: Innovation and Imagination in Record Keeping at ARA 2025

The Archives and Records Association Conference (ARA) takes place in Bristol from 27-29 August 2025 – and will be their first ever hybrid conference. This annual event brings together the influential players of the record-keeping sector from around the UK, features high profile speakers discussing the latest developments, an exhibition presenting the latest technologies, best practices and industry innovations as well as the opportunity to network with fellow members of the community. And Metataxis will be there, too!

The theme for the conference is “Next Generation: Innovation and Imagination in Record Keeping.” As part of this three-day event, our director and experienced Information Management consultant, Noeleen Schenk, will be live on stage running a 60-minute interactive workshop for all ARA delegates.

She will be joined by our Archive and Records Management expert, Siobhan King, and together they look forward to hosting a lively discussion, where they will be encouraging delegates to explore their information, records and archival management skills, understand how transferable they really are, and identify what actions they need to take to adapt their skills for the changing world of work.

The session is “Adapting skills in a changing workplace” and you can join them both on Wednesday, 27 August at 12:15 PM.

Find out more about their session and see the full programme of events.

Concludes Noeleen Schenk, Senior Consultant at Metataxis:

“We are thrilled to be part of this year’s ARA Conference. The interactive workshop will enable us all to explore the value of records management skills and even help delegates develop a personal action plan for the future. We are really looking forward to networking with peers, hearing other inspirational speakers, and visiting the exhibition. It’s going to be a busy few days!”

And there’s still to register your place!
