On Tuesday 10 March 2026, the global community will come together online for World Information Architecture Day 2026, an annual event exploring what it takes, in the age of AI, to structure information that people can truly understand and trust.
As artificial intelligence accelerates content creation, the challenge is no longer volume, it’s meaning. This year’s event puts Information Architecture (IA) centre stage, highlighting its vital role in shaping clear, inclusive and human-centred digital experiences.
Information Architecture has always been about more than navigation and labels. It’s about whether people can make sense of what they’re seeing, and whether the systems we design serve human needs or simply add to the noise.
