Metataxis masters the complexity of content ingestion with new online solution
Metataxis is delighted to have supported key client, Thomas Telford in the successful launch of their new online contract tool, NEC Digital.
Thomas Telford, the publishing arm of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), produces specialist products and services for the civil engineering and construction sectors, including the bestselling NEC® suite of contracts and guides.
Following our delivery of a content audit and content data model for this major international publisher, we built on these foundations to help digitise the NEC® suite of contract templates and enable the successful launch of NEC Digital.
NEC Digital is a modern, online contract drafting solution for the construction and infrastructure industries. To support the major transition from paper-based to digital processes, Metataxis contributed to the work converting the NEC contract templates, previously available only as PDFs, into digital-ready formats for use within the new platform.

Metataxis played a key role in shaping this online platform, delivering a comprehensive content audit and developing the content data model that underpins the system. Working in close collaboration with the in-house technology team, the team also supported the major content migration transition from paper-based to digital based processes as well as backend development support for content ingestion and quality assurance.
At the recent NEC Digital launch party, our very own Marc Stephenson and Sharon Stewart were formally recognised for their dedication and contribution to the successful release of NEC Digital.
